I am just someone who picked up a camera and fell in love with photography.
My name is Stephanie Latham and I was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas. I currently live in Tomball, Texas with my husband and daughter. I have always had a love of photography since I was young. In my art class in high school we did a project that involved showing us how to develop film and from there I was hooked. I bought an old school camera and started to mess around taking pictures of my friends when we went to the beach. Once I started college, I didn’t have much time to really perfect my picture taking skills and it was kind of on the back burner until I graduated with my Bachelors degree. Ten years of college while working was done. I couldn’t get the motivation to just finish my degree. So I began my journey in the corporate world. When I was 24 I took a job as a receptionist for an oil pipe supply company. I never knew that I would still be there today when I started my journey there.
Where it started...
My dad bought me my first “professional” camera with two lenses, tons of memory cards, extra batteries and a bag to carry it all in. That is when the passion for photography ignited within me. I began taking pictures of my friends and their families. Then I got asked to do a wedding, then an engagement session, then another wedding. I was ecstatic that people were wanting me to capture those special moment in their lives. Some of the pictures I took even surprised me when I saw them. I started to learn more from other photographers that I had met. I was very grateful for all of the advice that they gave to me.

When my husband and I moved to our house in Tomball, I finally had a space that I could turn into a studio and start taking clients not only in the studio, but outside of it as well. My main goal as a photographer is to give you the best pictures at an affordable price. I don’t consider myself the best, because I am not the best. Every day I learn something new, wether it be about my camera, my clients or myself.
